Daily Education and Technology for Schools

Daily Education and Technology today includes a wealth of resources for teaching and animated infographics and Drawings in the classroom. Computer graphics is a powerful new method of journalism and a way of telling stories that tend to go viral which can be easily used with children. With the free tools available to today's students, must not have artistic to try their luck in computer graphics and cartoon hand.

Infographics and cartoons are also valuable tools to use in your district to communicate positive stories. Reach out and discover the stories they have to tell and compile them into an infographic as part of the marketing efforts of the school.       Another software visualization tool. This is IBM. The URL is a strange way have to check this. This service is free and is billed as an "experiment". There are also some nice articles on how to create effective visualizations on this site that will give you ideas if you are using infographics in the classroom.

      easel.ly | create and share visual ideas online

      Another manufacturer of graphics I've tried is easel.ly. He could not use it at all in Chrome but Firefox was a good graphic maker. This is more for graphics type Infogr.am narrative story, in my opinion. There are several basic items to choose and edit and add your own graphics. Another tool that could be used with students but if you want graphics that have a lot of data to go with infogr.am. Easel.ly I found it very easy to use with a quick registration process, even though it was totally unresponsive in Chrome, so make sure you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox if you pick this tool. I recommend this tool for writing teachers, bloggers, and as a good way to graphically organize stories, etc Cost: Free

Comics and graphic novels are another powerful way to teach storytelling without having to delve into long stories. These serve as great story starters or how to develop dialog.

      One of the favorite sites for construction of the comics I've been using for a long time is Toondoo. I have found that if you have too many students who enroll at the same time, it can be a problem.
